This 4-Port hub simply plugs into a USB port on your PC/Laptop/Server to provide 4 COM ports to connect to Cisco/other network devices. I manually installed the Prolific drivers for my Windows 7 64-bit laptop [PL-2303 Ver 3.0.1.0_12-02-2007], or you can downland your own drivers.
